Garage Door Was Slamming Shut When Closing

Our garage door started slamming hard every time it closed, which didn’t feel safe. I submitted a request through the IGD website and got a call back to set up a visit.

The technician checked the springs, tracks, and rollers and showed me where the imbalance was coming from. He adjusted and replaced what was worn and explained how to spot signs of this happening again.

The door now closes smoothly and much quieter than before.
