01 Why did my remote stop working?
The most common cause is a dead battery. If a fresh battery does not fix it, the remote may have lost its programming, or the opener's receiver may have a fault. Power surges and nearby frequency interference can sometimes erase remote codes.
02 Can you program my car's HomeLink to my opener?
Yes. We program HomeLink, Car2U and other vehicle-integrated systems to work with your garage door opener. Some newer openers with rolling codes require a learn-button sequence that pairs the vehicle to the opener. We handle the full setup during the visit.
03 How do I know if the problem is the remote or the opener?
Try the wall button inside the garage. If the wall button works but the remote does not, the issue is with the remote, its battery, or the opener's antenna and receiver. If neither works, the problem is the opener itself. We test both during diagnosis.
04 Can you replace a lost or broken keypad?
Yes. We install and program wireless keypads for LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Craftsman and other brands. A new keypad mounts outside the garage and lets you open the door with a PIN code.
05 Is it safe to use the old remote if I moved into a new house?
We recommend clearing all previous remote codes from the opener and reprogramming only the remotes you own. This prevents a previous owner's remote from opening your garage. We clear the opener's memory and program your remotes during the visit.
