Garage Door Warranty
You Can Count On
Backed by a family-owned company. Real coverage, plain language, no runaround.
We back every job with a real warranty because we believe the work should last. Instant Garage Doors has been serving Renton and the Greater Seattle area since 2012, and we have never dodged a warranty claim. When something we installed or repaired does not hold up, we come back and fix it. No voicemail maze, no fine print surprises. You call us, tell us what happened, and we take care of it. That is how a local, family-owned company should operate. Our warranty exists so you never have to wonder whether we will stand behind our work.
Long-Term Warranty on Labor
Every new garage door installation comes with a long-term warranty on our labor. If something goes wrong with the way we installed it, we come back and fix it at no cost. No questions about whether you purchased a service plan.
This applies to full door installations, not just panel swaps or minor adjustments. We stand behind the craftsmanship of our crew because we trust the work they do.
Long-Term Warranty on Parts
All parts we supply and install are covered by manufacturer warranties. Springs, cables, rollers, hinges, opener motors, and garage door panels each have specific coverage periods set by the manufacturer. We use quality brands that back their products.
Your technician will explain the exact warranty on every part before the work begins. We document it on your invoice so you always have a record of what is covered and for how long.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from homeowners about our garage door warranty coverage and how to use it.
01 How long does the labor warranty last on new garage door installations?
Our labor warranty on new garage door installations is a long-term warranty. We stand behind our workmanship. If there is ever an issue with how the door was installed, we come back and make it right at no charge.
02 Does my warranty cover the parts Instant Garage Doors installed?
Yes. All parts we supply and install carry a manufacturer-backed warranty. The length varies by part. Springs, cables, rollers, and opener components each have different coverage periods. We explain the specific warranty for every part before we begin work.
03 What if I bought my own parts and you installed them?
Our labor warranty still applies to the installation itself. However, the parts warranty would come from wherever you purchased them. We always recommend letting us supply the parts so you get full coverage under one roof.
04 Do I need to keep my invoice to use the warranty?
It helps, but it is not required. We keep records of every job in our system. Just call us with your name and address, and we can pull up your service history. Having your invoice number makes it faster.
05 Is there a service call fee for warranty work?
No. If the issue is covered under our warranty, there is no service call fee, no diagnostic fee, and no charge for the repair. We come out, assess the problem, and fix it.
