Recent Work in Your Area
Just this week, we helped a homeowner up in the Renton Highlands get their door back on track after a cable snapped during a cold morning. The door was pinned halfway open with their car stuck inside. We had it fixed and rolling smooth in under an hour.

Real reviews from local homeowners who trusted us with their garage door repairs and installations.
I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by Instant Garage Doors (IGD). After reaching out to two local companies in Renton for estimates on replacing our broken spring, IGD stood out for its transparency and straightforward approach. In contrast, the other company attempted to take advantage of the situation by quoting nearly triple the price of IGD’s estimate. Grant, who handled the repair, did an outstanding job and instilled confidence in his expertise throughout the process. I would highly recommend IGD to anyone in need of garage door services!
See it on GoogleWe had Grant from Instant Garage Door Repair (IGD) located in Renton, WA come out today to do some maintenance on two of our three garage doors that get used frequently. As in the past, Grant did a wonderful job explaining and showing me what he was doing. Their work is excellent and their charges are more reasonably priced compared to others I have had done work in the past, so I always recommend IGD to my friends and family now.
See it on GoogleHi I am from Renton area . I have used lot of garage services but I have to say this is the best one. After my first service from them I had little issues with garage door n the owner ( Issac) helped me over FaceTime with no technician fee which I really appreciate coz normally other garage providers will send there technician for little things n charge tech fee n stuff . But I really appreciate Issac’s help . N I think they are the most helpful people when in need n emergency.

See it on GoogleSheffi, our technician from IGD, was great. He looked over our garage door and suggested repairs that should be done in addition to replacing our broken spring. He did the work quickly and carefully. Ashley from the office was friendly and coordinated with Sheffi to get an appointment the same day we called in. We highly recommend IGD.

Frequently Asked Questions - Renton
You say you are local, how fast can you get to my house in Renton?
Because we actually live and operate in Renton, we can typically provide prompt, same-day service to our neighbors in Fairwood, the Highlands, and surrounding areas. Our trucks are already running routes through town, so we skip the long drive that out-of-area companies deal with.
Do you install new doors, or just fix broken ones?
We do it all! While we are experts at complex repairs, we also specialize in complete garage door makeovers, installing beautiful, insulated new systems that transform your home's exterior. We carry modern, traditional, and custom options from top brands like Clopay, Amarr, and CHI.
Why do garage door springs break so often here?
The natural moisture in the Puget Sound area causes standard steel springs to rust and bind over time. Renton sits right next to Lake Washington and the Cedar River, so the humidity is even higher here than most areas. We solve this by upgrading our customers to specialized, heavy-duty galvanized springs that resist corrosion and last years longer.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency service in Renton?
Yes. Renton is our home base, so we offer true 24/7 emergency garage door service here, day or night, weekends, and holidays. Whether you are near The Landing, downtown Renton, or out in Fairwood, call us at (425) 533-0350 anytime and we will get a tech headed your way.
Proudly providing expert garage door services to Renton and our neighbors in Kent, Newcastle, and Tukwila.
